The first season of Skins (British show that makes Degrassi look like Romper Room) finished up recently, and I finally watched the finale last night.

I present this spoilery musical number/cover of “Wild World” from the finale as incentive to find and watch the whole series. It’s really quite ace. Worth watching for Cassie’s style alone.

March has been a mostly disappointing month of television (mostly in the “huh, TV? episodes, anyone?” sense, but also in the horrific BSG finale sense). Skins, Life on Mars, and the return of Doctor Who at the end of the month are pretty much all that’s exciting and yay.

My friend Amber and I went to Descanso Gardens (as seen on ANTM) yesterday. Please enjoy this cherry blossom tree.

I spent the weekend in San Diego. While I was there, I went to the zoo. This animal is an okapi. I want to have one as a pet.

I also went to see Aaron Sorkin’s new play, The Farnsworth Invention. During the Q&A afterwards, we learned that Ainsley Hayes and Harriet Hayes are, indeed, related.
