Rather than simply sending holiday cards, many of the vendors we use at work have been sending fairly elaborate gifts. I find the quality of products surprisingly high given the number of studios these vendors must serve. I’ve received really lovely candles and leather goods (including what googles as a “man’s catchall,” you know, since I am manly*).

However, we’ve also been inundated with sweets. One of my co-workers was sent three (3) lbs. of Godiva chocolates. Another office of the company which sent me my man gift sent my group three dozen (36) cupcakes.

There have been three office holiday parties so far. I’m so sick of rich food.
