My work area is really drab.
There was someone else’s old swag growing mold on top of one of my cabinets; I finally pitched it today. One chick I work with made me this very blingy nametag, so that’s tacked up. I brought in a couple of action figures, but they’re just lying down next to my phone. I have a Star Wars mug for that one time a month I bother to make tea.
There’s a lot of useful information posted. I feel like it could be consolidated into a binder with flip tabs or something so that I could turn my cube walls into a vibrant diorama.

I adore Life on Mars. The idea of an American version? Not so much. An American version done by David E. Kelley? Really not so much.
Unless, of course, this means Shatner can guest star as a particularly swarthy, nasty detective.
so here’s the thing

I am exhausted, really exhausted. It’s a good thing. I like my new job lots, but, man, I’m a bit drained. It should slow down a bit soon.
sew what
I saw this new Marimekko fabric in Lucky. It makes me squee.
I don’t really know what I could do with it. Amber and I talked about making a wrap skirt, but the pattern may be too large for that. I could make a bedspread, but I dig the one I have. Curtains, maybe? Has to be something not that complex. I don’t sew that well.

When the hell is it coming back?:
In vaguely related news, I have been reading the same book since Thanksgiving. I whipped through the first two in the series relatively quickly, but I’m swamped busy right now (dude, I do not have time for all my tv). I tend to read about three pages before falling asleep. This is despite most of the book being doubleplusgood.
